Restaurants & Dining in Branson

One of the fun things to do during any vacation is to experience the food at different restaurants and Branson has a lot of fun and unique places to eat a meal or to enjoy a snack. Here are just a few of the unique places to get a good meal when visiting this great little vacation spot we call Branson.

Branson Cafe

Located on Main Street the Brasnson Cafe is the oldest restaurant in Branson. This small, but cute restaurant is known for its freshly made breads and desserts. This unpretentious little cafe is a great place for breakfast or lunch. They serve breakfast all day, and simple but tasty sandwiches. Their desserts and cinnamon rolls are especially good.

Farmhouse Restaurant

The Farmhouse Restaurant is also located on Main Street and really does look like a charming farmhouse. The atmosphere is relaxing and it is a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. This restaurants serves cocktails as well as food and visitors rave about their crab cakes, lamb and fillets. They also find that the portions are generous and eating here provides for a relaxing meal for both children and adults after a full day of things to do.

Danna’s BBQ and Burger Shop

Danna’s BBQ and Burger shop is a great place for those looking for fried and barbecued food and burgers. This burger shack offers great service and most customers who have eaten there not only return, but recommend both the pulled pork and fried catfish. Their banana splits are enough to feed an entire family dessert. This restaurant is located at 963 state Hwy 165.

Getting Basted

Since the South is known for it’s Barbecue we decided to include a second barbecue restaurant. Gettin’ Basted is located at 2345 W.Hwy 76 and is a casual atmosphere dining establishment that offers good filling meals for a reasonable price. Some of the things that makes this restaurant stand out is their homemade chips, great brisket and basted nachos. Customers also love their BBQ glaze sauce as well.

Indian Clay Restaurant

Located at 2005 W. 76 Country Road the Indian Clay restaurant is a little hard to find, but well worth the effort. This restaurant offers vegan friendly selections and will do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions. The food is spicy, but they will adjust the heat level if asked. Customers find that this restaurant orders very authentic Indian Cuisine.

Mel’s Hard Luck Diner

If being entertained is important as the food during your visit to Branson, MO then Mel’s Hard Luck Diner is worth visiting. Located at 2800 W. 76 Country Blvd. Ste. 103 This restaurant reminds you of an old fashioned diner complete with red checked table cloths and booths. Customers rate the food from average to excellent, but singing waiters and waitresses are well worth the visit. There is also a gift shop so you can pick up a few souvenirs.
